2024 Spring Ride Friday Work Slots (4/12)

Registration

  • Responsibility is to show up on time for you work slot. Coordinate with the Beginner Trail Boss on what is expected and needed during your shift.
    Beginner Trail consists of checking riders have proper wrist bands and monitor riders from different positions around the grass beginner loop. You may be asked to help pickup riders bikes for the occasional dropped bike or report to Trail Boss any safety issues you observe, be sure bring a comfortable chair. Choose 2 slots in following combinations for a free event comp'd ride. (2 patrol/sweep slots will not qualify). Option 1: Choose 1-Patrol/Sweep slot and 1-Starter slot or Option 2: Choose 2-Starter slots

    Main Trail Patrol consists of riding the Main Trail during your entire shift and reporting any Bike/ATV breakdowns or injuries to the Trail Boss. You may be asked to help Tow vehicle or Medics get to the rider and or report to the Trail Boss any safety issues you observe. Make sure you bike is Full of fuel before your shift. We should be able to provide a patrol vest and radio for communications to Trail Boss or Medics as needed. Choose 2 slots in following combinations for a free event comp'd ride.   • Age 18+ only Responsibility will be to assist MTDR and Ranch staff with rider registration on tablets at LL Ranch office just off the main highway. Preferably this should be volunteered by someone computer savvy.
  • Age 16+ only, must be able to ride full Main trail. Responsibility is to arrive at Trail Head 4:15PM and be ready to start Single Track trail sweep at 4:30PM for the entire Single Track sections, making sure all riders are off the trails.
    Make sure you bike is Full of fuel before your shift. We should be able to provide a patrol vest and radio for communications to Trail Boss or Medics as needed. Choose 2 slots in following combinations for a free event comp'd ride. (2 patrol/sweep slots will not qualify). Volunteers who work 2 work slots will receive a free rider registration

Choose 2 works slots on any day in following combinations for a free event comp'd ride.

  • Option 1: Choose 1-Trail Patrol/Sweep slot and 1-Trail Starter slot
  • Option 2: Choose 2-Trail Starter slots

Trail Starter 

Volunteer will be responsible for verifying each rider's access to trail and working with trail boss to report any issues. Volunteers will oversee riders entering and leaving the trail.

Trail Patrol 

(Restricted to Age 16 and older unless exception is granted) Volunteer must be capable of riding the trail they sign up for (novice or main) in all conditions and look for riders in need mechanical or medical assistance and request help to location over the radio. 

Trail Sweep

(Restricted to Age 18 and older unless exception is granted) , must be able to ride full Main or Single track trails. Responsibility is sweep the entire main or single track trails making sure all riders are off the Trails, you will be the last riders out of the Main or Single Track trail for that day.
