Like all of us I am aging.
I became very aware recently that just because you have no real "reach out and grab you by the throat symptoms" does not mean that you do not have something terribly wrong.
For me the only thing I noticed was that tramping around the woods lugging a chain saw that I got a bit winded by the time I got to the top of the hill but then again I was not surprised for my advanced years.
For me it was a new heart valve, a single bypass, and getting my really high pulse rate under control.
Think about this the next time you put off getting a physical.
glad to hear you caught it in time OLD friend,, i have lost several friends in the last few years due to JOHN WAYNE disease,, my yearly physical is coming up in june, sometimes there are things i dont like hearing , like 2 years ago when i had the HIGH FRUCTIOSE disease , early liver disease, corrected my behavior by reading labels & cutting it out to buy a few more years, maybe, will see & try to take better care of this old self,,,,getting old is tough but still better than dieing stupid,,,bv
Glad you had a successful outcome...which means "survival" at our age. I have never met a single human being who wasn't aging except, perhaps, the honored guest at a funeral. Whoever said "getting old is not for sissies" certainly understood the cycle of life. (My next physical is in a few weeks)
I need to survive the rehab from this and schedule one myself Jack. One disaster at a time and burn your bridges as you get to them for now at least.
